Voting

Village elections are held on the third Tuesday in March, at the Tracy Memorial Village Hall. The Mayor and Board of Trustees are elected to two-year terms. The Village Justice is elected to a four-year term. You must be a resident of the Village in order to vote in Village elections.

Registration is required and may be done in person at the Columbia County Board of Elections in Hudson, or by mailing an application form to them. Forms can be found online. Columbia County Board of Elections has more information about voter registration here.

If you will be unable to vote in person on Election Day, you may qualify to vote by absentee ballot. Absentee ballot applications are available at the Columbia County Board of Elections.

If you are nominated to run for elective office and you intend to be a candidate, you must fill out an Acceptance Form.
